Detail Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Biratnagar & Transfer to Resort

Morning flight to Biratnagar (45 minutes) followed by a scenic drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
Check-in at luxury safari tents and enjoy a welcome briefing.
Leisure time to explore the surrounding nature.
Overnight stay in Koshi Tappu.

Day 2

Birdwatching & Mammal Spotting

Early morning birdwatching session, spotting rare and migratory species such as Bengal Floricans, Great Thick-knee, and Imperial Eagles (seasonal).
Afternoon wildlife excursion, searching for Gangetic dolphins and wild water buffaloes.
Overnight stay in Koshi Tappu.

Day 3

Extended Birdwatching & Wildlife Exploration

Visit specialized bird habitats to see Pheasant-tailed Jacanas, Nepal Rufous-vented Prinias, Brown Fish Owls, and Red-necked Falcons.
Further opportunities to observe rare mammals and reptiles in the reserve.
Overnight stay in Koshi Tappu.

Day 4

Morning Birdwatching & Departure

Early morning birdwatching to capture final glimpses of unique bird species.
Return to the resort for breakfast and preparation for departure.
Drive to Biratnagar for a flight back to Kathmandu.
