A. Must-Bring Documents

B. Hotel and Power-Related Matters

The Tiger and Temple Tour includes both wildlife regions and heritage cities. Please note:
• Hotels near wildlife reserves may have limited hot water and occasional power interruptions.
• In some lodges, water may be supplied only during certain hours.
• Not all jungle lodges have full generator backup—candles or backup lights will be provided during outages.
• Wi-Fi may be available but can vary in speed and reliability, especially near national parks.

We request that guests maintain realistic expectations in remote wildlife areas.

C. Flight Details

• Send your arrival and departure flight details as soon as you book your tour.
  • If there are any last-minute schedule changes, kindly inform us immediately via email.
  • Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, look for the Karnali Excursions signboardheld by our representative.

D. Passport and Visa-Related Information

• All foreign nationals must have a valid passport with at least6 months validity.
  • Nepal visas can be obtained from your nearest Nepal Embassy/Consulate oron arrival at Kathmandu Airport.

E. Remaining Balance

• The remaining balance (if applicable) should be paidin USD or GBP (cash)upon arrival in Kathmandu.
  • Personal cheques are not accepted.

F. Additional Funds

• Please bring approximatelyUSD 800–1000or GBP 600–800 per person for personal expenses:
  – Extra meals or beverages
  – Laundry services at hotels
  – Snacks, mineral water, and soft drinks
  – Tips for guides, naturalists, drivers

• All programs in Nepal are subject to local regulations.
• The company is not responsible for disruptions caused by:
– Sudden weather changes
– Road closures or construction
– Wildlife movement or park restrictions
– Government regulations
– Political events or strikes
– Flight delays or cancellations

Any additional expenses resulting from such events are the responsibility of participants.

K. Tour Logistics

• Airport Pickup/Drop-off:Provided by Karnali Excursions. Please send flight details in advance.
  • Luggage: Store your main baggage at the Kathmandu hotel and carry valuables in your daypack.
  • Transportation: Comfortable private vehicles will be used for city tours and travel to wildlife regions.
  • Safari Arrangements: All jungle activities—jeep safaris, canoe rides, nature walks—will be coordinated with the national park authorities.
  • Power Adapters: Nepal uses 220–240 volts; bring adapters for Type C, D, or M plugs.
  • Communication:
  – Wi-Fi available in hotels; may be weaker in wildlife areas.
  – Local SIM card (NTC/Ncell) can be purchased at the airport.
  – International roaming works but may be costly.
