KE Adds 2 New Tours for Nature Lovers

Karnali Excursions has just added two new tours for nature lovers: Nepal Mammal and Birdwatching Tour, and Red Panda Tour. These tours are graded easy-to-moderate, and are available from October to May.

These tours are organized inside Nepal’s famous national parks, wildlife reserves, buffer zones, and protected forests.  They offer amplxe opportunities to explore some of endangered and rare species of wildlife like Royal Bengal Tigers, Greater One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Asian Elephants, Sloth Bears, Gaur Bisons, Common Leopards, Fishing Cats, Red Pandas, Swamp Deer, Fresh Water Gangetic Dolphins, Gharial Crocodiles, and rare species of birds such as Bengal Floricans, Sarus Cranes, Great Pied Hornbills, Swamp Francolins, Great Slaty Woodpeckers, Yellow Weavers, Jordon’s and Slender-billed Babblers, White-naped Woodpeckers, and Jerdon’s Bush Chats.

These tours are led and guided by one of Nepal’s well known naturalists and guides.

Significance of Divine Amar Katha

Once upon a time, Parvati requested Lord Shiva to explain her about the significance of the Amar Katha. Lord Shiva denied her requests saying that she does not deserve to know about it. Despite several denials, Parvati, kept on requesting to tell the significance of divine Amar Katha.

Around Manaslu Trek 2015

Karnali Excursions has organized its first ‘Around Manaslu Trek’ for the 2015 season, sending a group from America, here in Nepal to work with Habitat for Humanity, on a 19-day exploration of Nepal’s spectacular mountain sceneries, Himalayan culture and wildlife. They departed Kathmandu on October 22nd, 2015.
